Pneumatic Cylinder Accessories

As a lass who always wanted to be a writer, I always loved the thought of fountain pens. They were classic and delightful and therefore the sort of writing they made was—to me anyway—so sophisticated. I had one once but have since misplaced it within the mess of my office.

This pen from Edison Pen Co. uses simple Pneumatic Cylinder Accessories to fill an ink sac.

Although not the standard  the planning during this video from Edison Pen Co. is basically unique—it uses basic Pneumatic Cylinder Accessories to fill the ink sac and also to empty and clean it also . So give way 3D pens, I’m going old fashioned with this pneumatic pen!

It works like most  Pneumatic Cylinder Accessories systems. It features a compressible sac that stores the ink, and pulling the piston out of the pen’s tube creates compression and vacuum. once you pull back the piston while holding the pen in an inkwell, it compresses the sac, then inflates the sac with ink.

As the manufacturer says, he designed the pen mostly because it had been cool, but also because it offers a way better ink capacity than traditional pens that use a pressure bar to release the ink. The pressure bar cannot totally evacuate all the air out of the sac, so you’ll always get air within the sac. The pneumatic system eliminates this, because the sac are going to be totally compressed and there'll be no pockets of air within the sac. So rather than getting about 0.8 or 0.9 ml of ink with the normal style, the pneumatic pen gets about 1.25 ml of ink.

While this is often not an elaborate industrial  Pneumatic Cylinder Accessories, it's an honest example of the simplicity of pneumatics, and the way all one must demonstrate it's a piston/plunger and a few air during a tube
